We're just days away from the release date of God of War Ragnarok on PS4 and PS5, and with the release of written and visual reviews, some critics have begun comparing the game on different PlayStation platforms and identifying the differences between each version.

At the beginning, and before watching the video, we want to praise the Santa Monica studio, which has managed and excelled in exploiting the capabilities of each PlayStation platform with its different technical capabilities in a wonderful way, to give us in the end a good and solid experience that we rarely have in a game released on multiple platforms.

Through a video posted on IGN's YouTube channel, the three versions of God of War Ragnarok were put together, highlighting the graphical precision and performance through the different game modes that the game offers in the PS5 and PS4 versions.

Previously, we learned that the Santa Monica studio focused primarily on making the game compatible with the PlayStation 4's features, and then applied some improvements to further exploit the next-gen capabilities.

This may justify, according to some reports, the game's failure to explore all the capabilities of the PS5, which can reach a higher level, especially in terms of visual effects.

The presentation of the reveal of the first game was also compared, with the same scene from within the final version of the game, where the results showed, as you can see in the video below, the superiority of the final version in accuracy and improvement in the level of lighting.

God of War Ragnarök Game Modes on PS4 and PS5
