Hyperkin, specialized in the area of peripherals for video games, mainly classic ones, decided to present the classic Xbox 360 controller, considered the best of its time.
The wireless controller, which Microsoft first released in late 2005 with the Xbox 360, is considered one of the best controllers that gamers enjoyed when it was released. It is designed to make you feel like you are playing shooter games. It would not be an exaggeration to say that this arm was one of the main reasons for the success of Microsoft's console at the time.
It was released from the Xbox 360 controller several years later. Then came the slim Xbox 360 S model, which was released in 2010, and then a new modified version was released in 2013, codenamed Xbox 360 E. They were all very similar in terms of external appearance.
And for those who want to go back in time and experience it again, but with a modern touch, Hyperkin decided to design a classic Xbox 360 wireless controller. It will be released exclusively on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S and PC.
This new licensed version will be called Xenon after the Xbox 360's processor, but it will not have wireless connectivity, it will be a wired unit, with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Start and Back buttons have been replaced by the Menu and View buttons that appear on the modern Xbox Series X|S. The Share button is also located in the middle of the controller.
The cost of this new console, as well as its release date, are not yet known. But we do know that it will be available in four colors, which are white, black, pink and red.
Today, 17 years ago, the #Xbox 360 launched to much acclaim. Now announcing the Xenon, a replica of the official #Xbox 360 Controller – Licensed with Designed for Xbox – for Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/Windows 10|11 PCs.
