Secrets created in early PlayStation games
- Love letter in Resident Evil 3.
- Familiar music from Final Fantasy 9.
- NFSW artistic image from the Silent Hill demo.
Love Letter in Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil 3 Nemesis on the PS1 was an unparalleled game from Capcom, a solid and scary game for its time and one that really contributed to the reputation the series enjoys today. One of the secrets that was hidden in it doesn't appear until you finish the game, and you can find it in the summary at the bottom of the screen on the right and it says:
“I love you, Shinji Mikami (the godfather of the series) back on the list.”
Familiar music from Final Fantasy 9
Final Fantasy 9 contained many powerful and truly impressive clues, but it contained a certain secret that many fans of the series are not aware of.
In one of the chapters of the game, specifically in the evil forest area, the background music that plays and the player hears is actually music from Final Fantasy 7, but with a better and clearer melody. Did you notice that?
Need For Speed Wanted art in the Silent Hill demo
Silent Hill, released in 1991, included a free demo included in the British PlayStation magazine. The demo contained a secret that everyone was unaware of: its title screen was an image of a naked woman holding in her hands an artistic image from within the game Need for Speed Wanted.
The development team faced a lot of problems precisely because of this issue, and the image ended up being excluded from the demo.
