Cyberpunk 2077 sales contributed to CD Projekt's financial record

Cyberpunk 2077 is still experiencing one of its best moments in recent times, with its return to a high position in the digital store's sales list. As well as its arrival several weeks ago to more than a million simultaneous players daily.

Publisher and developer CD Projekt announced on Monday that Cyberpunk 2077 sales achieved record financial results during the company's third quarter. These results helped deliver record third-quarter financial results for CD Projekt.

In financial terms, this was the best third quarter in our entire history, with consolidated revenues of PLN 246 million (US$1TP4Q 54.6 million).

This is mainly due to strong sales of Cyberpunk – the group recorded a net profit of PLN 99 million (US$ 21.3 million).

The publisher previously announced that Cyberpunk 2077 had sold over 20 million copies across all platforms. As of last April, its sales had reached 18 million, an increase of 2 million copies in just five months.

Cyberpunk 2077 is also the third best-selling game on Steam behind Slime Rancher 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. and continues to hold its position in the top 100 games for the second week in a row.
