The next-gen upgrade version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has finally been revealed, after years of waiting and anticipation, so is what we've seen really worth all the waiting?
Many fans of the game seemed to not be completely convinced of the changes in the game through some of the screenshots we saw in the last review. Although it is too early to judge this new “Next-Gen” update that the game has received.
However, we can learn more about the differences between the two versions, albeit in principle, through several videos that we have put together for you, highlighting the updates that have occurred on more than one device.

- Better graphics on next-gen hardware, comparable to Ultra Graphics settings on a PC.
- Visualization integrated into the game.
- NPCs will become less frequent

- Settings for graphics in the new generation: Performance mode (60fps) and quality (30fps with Raytracing).

- Dubbing has been added in several new languages.

- Hybrid minimap option, which makes the minimap disappear after a certain amount of time (until you press the focus button again).
- New quest inspired by The Witcher on Netflix.
- New swords, shields and items.
- Alternative costume for Dandelion.
- Support for saving and transferring game progress across all platforms.
- New walking and running controls, giving you more control over Geralt's movement speed.
- Captions can be made to appear in a larger font.
- You can now pause the game during cutscenes
The developer has confirmed that more details about the next-gen upgrade for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will be revealed in the coming weeks, leading up to the December 14 release date.
It is also mentioned that the game is currently discounted up to 80% during the “Black Friday Deals” on digital stores.
