When id Software released Doom in 2016, it was praised as a fast-paced, brutal shooter. It felt like a solid return to form after Doom 3, which was slower and more methodical than the title currently is. The Doom 4 project is known to have gone through a lot of trouble and fantasy before being released as a reboot in 2016.
We have screenshots and new images from a version of the canceled Doom 4 project that have surfaced online. The names used for the files indicate that the screenshots were developed for a special demo scheduled for release in holiday 2012, where the game looks like Dead Space from a first-person view.
The teaser below is only half a minute long and is filled with the most brutal and terrifying creatures from the 2016 project. Some have compared these creatures to those that appeared in Dead Space, but with more brutality.
Doom Eternal will be released in 2020 with The Ancient Gods DLC releasing in 2020 and 2021. Mighty Doom for mobile was announced last month. And some people are very upset with id Software studio and executive producer Marty Stratton for their treatment of composer Mick Gordon during the development of Doom Eternal and for blindly imposing their opinions based on sources.

We still don't know when we'll see another Doom title in the new series, but from what we're currently seeing in the industry, making a trilogy for this new series is logical and good, especially after the success of the title in both parts with a completely new departure from the classics.
But it's the public's admiration for these leaked scenes and images that could leave developers in id Software using the same method for your next project? It might be a great idea.
