Insomniac Games is still keeping details of its next big game, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, from us, but it seems we have a hint here, albeit a simple one, that indicates the depth of the game's dialogues, the details of which are still unknown until now.
Through a live broadcast that took place on the developer's channel on the Twitch platform, the person responsible for programming spoke Eileen Ruskin Regarding the presence of a fun new chat system in the game. Unfortunately, the developer didn't reveal any further details about the nature of this new system, and whether it will change the course of events and the story, or whether these dialogues will change depending on the character you play, and whether there is a mechanism for choosing decisions based on the player's wishes.
Additionally, he was the voice actor for Venom. Tony Todd Recently, some interesting details about the character's involvement in the game emerged. Speaking during the podcast, Todd said that Venom's appearance in some scenes is similar to Rhino's appearance as Spider-Man Miles Morales. He specifically highlighted the scene where Miles chases Rhino, breaking windows, and breaking into a large shopping mall. He said Venom's presence in the game will follow the same pattern, meaning he'll likely appear in many similar scenes.
However, from the first and only trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, we know that Peter Parker and Miles Morales will co-star in the game, as well as the presence of Venom, who will appear for the first time in the series. Other than that, no other details have been officially released yet.
The game is expected to release this year, and this has been confirmed by both Sony and developers at Insomniac Games, so we don't expect to have to wait too long before we get more new details.
Spider-Man 2 is being developed exclusively on PlayStation 5, meaning we won't see a version dedicated to the latest generation, and the game is expected to be released in the last quarter of 2023.
