A new Dead Island 2 review introduces us to Bruno.

Dead Island 2 has received a new trailer introducing the last of the six playable characters. The series of videos released by the development team comes as part of its promotional campaign, in preparation for its release on home platforms next April.

The sixth hero is the con artist Bruno, who is skilled at pulling off high-risk heists before moving on to killing the undead full-time. Unlike some of his allies, he is more agile and prefers to stab zombies in the back than face them in Dead Island 2.

Bruno's abilities range from Backstab, which gives a medium damage boost when attacking zombies from behind. Rapid Reprisal also increases his agility and costs a heavy attack when blocking or parrying attacks. His strategy is to avoid damage and land a powerful backstab for maximum damage.

Dambuster Studios and publisher Deep Silver have announced that Dead Island 2's release date will come a week earlier than planned, as it will launch on April 21st instead of April 28th.

This completes the six playable characters. We'll remind you that we've previously seen a lot of early impressions of the game, as many have described it as preserving the original game. It also borrows some elements from the Dying Light game, which shares many of the same elements.

We remind you that the game will be released for current and last generation platforms and for PC on April 21st.
