One of the tragic scenes in Resident Evil 4 Remake is changed from the original game

Yesterday we received an in-depth analysis of Resident Evil 4 Remake and, as usual, Capcom impressed us with the extent of the changes that the game will receive in terms of graphics, effects and the direction it adopts in new generation games, making the game already ahead of its time.

But with all this beauty that dazzled us, there was one scene that may have affected some viewers when they learned that it was changed to become tragic in the remake after it was wonderful in the original game. We are talking about the scene of the rescue of the dog that was caught in one of the traps at the entrance to the village at the beginning of the game.

In the original game, Leon manages to rescue the dog whose leg got caught in one of the bear traps that the villagers placed at the entrances to their village, but in Resident Evil 4 Remake the scene changes tragically when you realize that it is too late and the dog is dead.

Team IGN They managed to identify the difference between the two scenes and made a short video showing the two situations from the original game and the new game, as you can see below.

This scene may have saddened some and angered others, as they began demanding that Capcom undo the tragic changes and return the new game to the original scene where the dog is rescued.

Until now, Capcom has not explained the secret of the change in this scene and whether it had a later impact on the course of the game, or was just changed to increase the level of mystery and horror in the game, which has become increasingly darker than the original game.

We also learned yesterday that the game will have a version dedicated to the PlayStation 4 among the last generation devices, and it seems that Capcom wants to reach the largest possible audience, since the old Sony device has a huge fan base that exceeds 100 million, and this will obviously contribute to boosting the game's sales.

Resident Evil 4 Remake will be released on PlayStation 5, 4, Xbox Series, and PC on March 23, 2023.
