There is no doubt that the appearance of the action RPG game Phantom Blade Zero, considered one of the PlayStation 5 exclusives, during the Summer Games Festival event, saved the situation “a little” and broke the state of boredom.
Phantom Blade Zero, exclusive to PlayStation, is considered one of the most anticipated titles, and is considered its second official appearance, as it has been confirmed that it is a game that takes 30 to 40 hours to complete, with group multiplayer mode, in addition to combat scenes filmed within the game.
In a new interview conducted by IGN with the founder of the S-Game development team and some developers, some new information and details about the game were discussed, in addition to his participation in a new and long analysis of the game, highlighting the bosses, combat movements, weapons and game environment, and we share with you the most important things that emerged in the interview.
The game combines the fast-paced, complex combat style famous in the Devil May Cry series with level design inspired by the Souls series, meaning it’s a mix of the two. You’ll be able to use 30 different weapons, including dual blades, one-handed swords, straight swords, and sabers. Great and more. You’ll also have the ability to cancel moves, unleash super abilities, perform successful blocks, and dodge attacks using “Invincibility Frames.”
You’ll be able to use tools called “Phantom Edges” like the Tiger Hand Cannon and the Bow, and guard moves will consume energy called “Sha-Chi.” You can also break enemies’ guards. If you dodge a red attack at the last moment, you’ll have the opportunity to perform a “Ghost Step” and land a decisive blow.
In the game, you'll find plenty of exploration and hidden chests in between fights. You can also explore the environment, jump and perform assassinations from behind, and you'll notice that the fighting moves are inspired by kung fu and Chinese martial arts.
