A job posting indicating potential work on a new A Plague Tale

After the end of A Plague Tale Requiem, many players hoped for a sequel. It seems those hopes are coming true after developer Asobo Studio posted a job opening for an experienced developer.

According to the latest job posting, the studio is seeking a "senior game designer" to assist the A Plague Tale team that worked on the title previously and support them in pre-production. We can't expect the reason for the job posting to be an expansion or any kind of additional narrative content, as we know, ultimately, that no additional content is necessary for this push. The game's success also confirms the possibility of working on a new installment.

A Plague Tale director Kevin Chotto has said that Requiem is "the end" so far, but we've noticed a somewhat open ending to the game's events due to the game's genuine success. Indeed, we've witnessed the game's massive success, attracting over a million players in less than a month—one million of whom played the adventure "Amicia."

We're not saying we're about to expect a new sequel by any means, but all signs and hints point to a new saga and not just DLC. The game's reviews have been very promising, with an average score of 83/100 on Metacritic based on 56 different reviews. VGA4A gave the game a 7.5 out of 10.
