The Valorant division has been expanding and thriving over the past two years since its launch, and given the continued and enduring success of the Riot Games project, it's no surprise that the developer is looking to bring the game to other platforms.
It's been known for some time that Valorant will be coming to smartphones, and reports indicate that the game may be in development for home platforms.
Riot Games recently posted a job posting for a “Senior Game Designer, Console – Valorant,” and the importance of this position is clear. The job description reads in the text: “Design and improvement of features, modes, and systems to bring to market a product (game) for home platforms.” Interestingly, this isn’t the first time such an announcement has been made.
It is clear that work on the launch of the Valorant game on home platforms continues to advance, but behind the scenes it is clear because earlier this year and through a list of previous vacancies announced by the Riot Games studio, in addition to experts and data miners, Shiina and Valorleaks noticed error messages such as “Lost connection to PSN” and “Lost connection to Xbox LIVE” were added to the game files.
Almost since then, there has been nothing official from the developer about the console copy, but with the success of the personal mobile version and the continued demand for it, we expect an announcement soon on the matter.
