Everything we know about the new Resident Evil: Death Island movie.

Yesterday, Capcom surprisingly revealed Resident Evil: Death Island, which will continue the series of CGI films that incorporate the events of the famous video game.
Previously, we got 3 parts of the CG movie series that incorporates the story of the famous Resident Evil game, which were as follows:

- Movie Resident Evil: Vengeance.
- The new Resident Evil movie: Death Island.
In other words, this new installment will be a sequel to the events of the previous film, Resident Evil: Vendetta. But what's surprising and wonderful at the same time is that we'll see the heroes of the series meeting in a single film for the first time.
Yes, as you can see in the first clip from the film above, we will see Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield together on an adventure.

The new film will be a direct sequel to the previous film, Resident Evil: Vendetta, released in 2017. Security operations agent Leon S. Kennedy tries to rescue a kidnapped doctor from an unknown destination, but during his secret mission, a mysterious woman appears who changes everything.
Meanwhile, and elsewhere, Biosecurity Counter-Terrorism Alliance agent Chris Redfield investigates the spread of a mysterious infection on the West Coast, which appears to have originated on Alcatraz Island. From here, Chris and his team sail to that island to further investigate the source of this infection.
Resident Evil: Death Island will be directed by Ichiro Hasumi What gave us Assassination Classroom. The script will be written Makoto FukamiPsycho-Pass screenwriter.
This CG-animated film series is based on the story and events of the survival horror game Resident Evil. It is also set in the same universe as the famous Resident Evil game series. As we can see in the video, this film will bring Leon, Chris, and Jill together for the first time.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release the film worldwide, and perhaps this raises our hopes that it will be shown from day one in international and local theaters.
At the time of writing this report, no specific date has been set for the film's release, except that it will reach us during this year 2023. However, we expect it to be ready during this year's holiday season, that is, in the last quarter of the year.
