Take-Two Announces Astronomical Sales Figures for GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption

Even though it's been almost ten years since GTA 5 was released with GTA Online, it's still selling like hotcakes. It has sold almost 175 million copies.
A remarkable figure achieved by a game that is almost entering its tenth year since its launch and more than 3 consecutive generations, and perhaps thanks to the re-release of the new-gen version, in addition to the continued support for the game, the most recent of which was the update for GTA Online: The Criminal Enterprises, which was released several months ago.
This came during a recent Take-Two earnings call, which was covered by verified account Ben familiar with the company's news, in which the publisher confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online have sold over 46 million copies so far in the last quarter. On the other hand, the Red Dead Redemption series, with all of its first and second installments, has managed to reach over 70 million copies sold so far.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online saw more active players in the second quarter than in a similar period in recent years, according to publisher Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.
While for the first time, GTA 5 sales slowed down last quarter, with just over a million copies sold, sales of the fifth series and GTA Online reached almost 175 million copies by the second quarter.
I would like to provide a new update on the newly updated sales figures for Grand Theft Auto V and GTAO.
GTAV has sold an estimated 170-175 million copies to date. Due to Take-Two's bizarre wording in their presentation, they seem to be showing numbers in multiples of 5. pic.twitter.com/EPV2q9AWay

Developer Rockstar will continue to deliver more content and major updates, along with seasonal updates for GTA Online.
And as for the enhanced trilogy that sparked controversy when it was first released, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition managed to sell over 4 million copies during the last quarter.
