Sony continues to make arguments to block Microsoft's acquisition of Activision from completing, the latest of which is the claim that it will not allow it to put Call of Duty on the PS Plus service.

Recently, Sony expanded its monthly service and began offering packages of varying levels and prices, in an attempt to offer larger titles to these packages, especially the higher ones, including Premium and Extra.

Sony claims in its latest response to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) that Microsoft will not allow it to put Call of Duty or any other Activision games such as Spyro and Crash Bandicoot on PS Plus under any circumstances.

Sony sees the PS Plus monthly subscription service as crucial to its ability to compete in the future, while Call of Duty on PS Plus is absolutely essential.

Sony also claims that Microsoft will instead try to force it to make its Xbox Game Pass service accessible through PlayStation devices, so that users on Sony platforms can access Call of Duty and other Activision games instead of offering them directly on PS Plus.

This statement from Sony is the opposite of what he said Phil Spencer Through its special offer to Sony to make Call of Duty available on PlayStation platforms for 10 years. However, the company referred to Microsoft's acquisition of Zenimax in the past, as it promised at the time to make its games available on multiple platforms, but after completing the deal, it began converting its new games to be available exclusively on Xbox platforms.

Sony concluded that Microsoft's past behavior showed that its public statements should be treated with great suspicion and caution, rather than without warranties and under close scrutiny.
