Striking Distance has updated some information on The Callisto Protocol's Steam page, where the developer has finally revealed the minimum and recommended requirements.
The developer also talked about some of the features, and in particular, CTO Mark James spoke about the AI systems built into the Callisto Protocol and how they play a crucial role in raising concerns, thanks in large part to something Striking Distance refers to as the “ventilation system.”
The minimum requirements for the Callisto Protocol:

- Random memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580
- DirectX: version 11

- Random memory: 16 GB RAM

As for the story… The game is set in the year 2320, and the Black Iron Prison is run by the United Jupiter Company, located on Jupiter's moon, Callisto. The player takes on the role of a prisoner, Jacob Lee, who is held in a prison and finds himself in the middle of an unknown alien invasion, which appears to have been masterminded by the prison's warden.
The Callisto Protocol launches on December 2 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. The game's season pass was recently revealed and includes new story DLC, multiple modes, and some cosmetic items.
