Sony's first-party games have been coming to the PC platform in recent years, with Returnal releasing last month and The Last of Us Part 1 on March 28. While the next title is unknown, someone on Reddit called Veloxz believes it could be Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart from Insomniac Games.
This is due to a job listing for a vacant "UX/UI Engineer" position at Studio Nixxes to help create a user interface experience for the upcoming AAA PC game. This isn't the developer's first time working on a PC game, having previously worked on Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
A quick look at Coherent's website reveals the various projects its technology has been used for. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is definitely on the list. It's worth noting that this is one of the few remaining PS5 titles that hasn't yet been released on PC.
It may be some time before we see the game's announcement coming to PC, so stay tuned for more details as they become available.
The game sold over 1.1 million copies in its first month to great success. It's considered one of the best-rated games of 2021. The PC version of The Last of Us Part 1 will arrive this month with AMD FSR 2.2 support, Nvidia DLSS Super Resolution, and widescreen support in 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios.
