Rumor: Nintendo Switch 2 development kit has reached some developers.

Previous leaks have indicated that the Nintendo Switch 2 could be announced later this year. According to recent reports, the unannounced platform development kit arrived at a Spanish development team in the recent period.
According to the leak NWeedleName On Twitter, a Nintendo Switch 2 development kit has been received by a studio in Spain. While the studio has not been named considering its relationship with Nintendo, the developer in question could be MercurySteam. It is the team behind the titles Metroid Dread and Metroid: Samus Returns.
Interestingly, the leak claims that the studios supplied with the development kit are using the original Switch Pro controller at the moment, with Nintendo wanting to keep the new controller under wraps and hoping to avoid any kind of leaks.

Furthermore, according to the same leak, the device's development stages have already come a long way and it is very close to being announced. Thus, it is expected to be revealed at the end of this year or early next year, with a set of distinctive titles that are exclusive to it and shared between it and the current device.
It is also said that the device will have some distinctive features and its design will be modern, suitable for multi-generational competition with unique capabilities. But we just want to know whether it will be compatible with the games on the current device or not.
Sources said the technical power of the device will be equal to the power of the previous generation PS4 and Xbox One devices, with the use of Nintendo technologies updated from those available in the current generation.
