Last year, Bandai Namco revealed its new project in cooperation with Japanese development studio FromSoftware, which was the return of the famous mecha series in its sixth installment, which is Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.

The complete lack of official news about the game from the developer for quite some time has added some concern about the release date, which seems to be somewhat elusive, but according to recent reports, it seems that the game will be targeting a release date closer than expected, specifically in the fall period. The current year is 2023.

A new report from an informed source claims that developer FromSoftware is planning to release Armored Core 6 in the September-October timeframe of this year, 2023. This means that the game will definitely be released before the release of the new expansion for the Elden Ring game called Shadow of the Erdtree, which was announced a few days ago.

However, the game's producer Yasunori Ogura has previously spoken about the core elements of Armored Core 6, including customization mechanics, online play, difficulty, and story. All of this is intended to achieve a unique and innovative mechanical experience to a large extent compared to previous installments.

Yasunori Ogura said that the essence of the Armored Core 6 game lies in the elements of movement and “Customizations” that work together symbiotically, also emphasizing that the game will preserve the aspects that fans of the series loved in the past, such as containing an engaging and deep story, as he confirmed that there is no live connection between Armored Core 5 and the new title on this side. This means that there is no need to play the past parts to understand the sixth part.
