Bandai Namco continues to reveal the characters of the fighters that will be part of TEKKEN 8. We received offers from veteran characters like Jin Kazama, Kazuya and Nina, and now it has been confirmed that the beloved character Paul Phoenix will return.
TEKKEN 8 hasn't received a release date yet, but the latest news suggests it will launch in Bandai Namco's fiscal year 2024. That hasn't stopped the company from revamping the fighters and their combat methods.
Paul is a veteran character in the fighting game series, having been featured in almost every main and spin-off installment. And now he's back in the eighth installment with his new look and familiar combat capabilities, as seen below in the game's latest reviews.
These videos are part of several reviews the company releases for various fighters and personalities. Last week, we also received a review of veteran character Kazuya, and we expect to see more reviews of other characters in the coming weeks.
It's worth noting that the game is being developed using Unreal Engine 5, which is currently popular in current-generation game development. Furthermore, the next installment will be using this engine for the first time, as previous installments were all developed using the fourth-generation engine, which explains why the game's release is likely delayed and there is no specific release date.
What character do you hope to see next in the company's upcoming reviews, share with us below in the comments section.
