Wild Hearts is based on the idea of fighting monsters using a building system called Karakuri, which can be developed and expanded as the player progresses. Set in Azuma, a fantasy setting of feudal Japan, teams of three players will face giant, realistic monsters called kimono, using a combination of combat and inventing and integrating unknown means to help them deal with these dangers. It can be played solo or cooperatively and supports cross-play across all platforms.
