Bayonetta 3 has just been released on the Nintendo Switch, but the game's producer has stated his plans for six more games in the series.

We may already remember that after porting the first two Wii U games to the Switch, the long-awaited Bayonetta 3 was first revealed at the Game Awards in 2017.

Although there was a long wait between the first announcement and the game's release. However, Umbra Witch's third outing got off to a great start as Bayonetta 3 received rave reviews before its release and this prompted the series' producer Hideki Kamiya Exciting fans with new games in the series on the way.

The producer has tweeted multiple times to say that he has plans for the entire Bayonetta story to be told across nine games, with the latest comment posted on October 30. He says that even nine installments may not be enough to tell the entire story.

Hideki Kamiya possibly hints that 9 Bayonetta games may not be enough. He previously said he had a plan up to Bayonetta 9.

While the prospect of multiple new games being introduced in a beloved series may be exciting for fans, caution should be exercised as Kamiya is known for his sense of humor. And that's not taking into account the other games Platinum is developing, such as Astral Chain 2, and another major obstacle to grand plans comes from Nintendo's side. Where the publisher controls everything, the publisher has the final say on any grand plans.

Don't forget, dear reader, that the game is available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch platform.
