Developer Polyphony, famous for the Sony-exclusive Gran Turismo racing series, may be planning to port it to PC, at least according to series creator Kazunori Yamauchi.
Given the current pace at which PlayStation is going and its recent desire to bring its games to PC ports, gamers may not have to hold their breath for too long about Gran Turismo, as this news comes from a GTPlanet interview with Yamauchi.
When the title's creator was asked about the many speculations pointing to a PC version, he responded at the time that fans of the series could have something to look forward to in the near future. "Yes, I think so," Yamauchi responded to the question of whether or not Gran Turismo could come to PC.
Some of PlayStation's biggest and most popular exclusive series have been ported to PC in recent years. These include Horizon, God of War, Spider-Man and, most recently, Uncharted, with gamers now expecting Gran Turismo to appear on the platform for at least several months alongside Ghost of Tsushima.
Unfortunately, the latest installment in the series had a poor launch, and thus the game became the worst rated among many previous PlayStation Studios-affiliated games that have a bad reputation, such as NBA 10 The Inside, Cool Boarders 2001, and other games, as its rating even days after its release reached 2.5 out of 5 stars. 10, the number dropping to 2.1 out of 10.
