As of yet, the free PS Plus Premium and Extra games for the month of December have not been announced, but Sony has already added 3 games to the trial.

The Game Trials feature is one of the elements that distinguish the premium or deluxe package in Arabic accounts. As it allows its subscribers to try some of the newly released or very popular games before purchasing them.

Linear games can be experienced for up to 2 hours, while large open world games can be experienced for up to 5 hours.

What new games can I try with PS Plus Premium?

Sony recently added 3 new games to the list of titles that can be tried before you buy, and these games are as follows:

  • Ghostwire Tokyo
  • Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
  • sniper 5

All three new games can be played for an hour on PlayStation 5 or 4, if you can find a copy there. This may be disappointing to some, especially since Sony has confirmed that the linear games will be up to two hours long, but it looks like we'll get a minimum this time around.

The good thing is that if you decide to purchase any of these three games after trying them out, you can transfer your progress and achievements from the free trial to the full version.

Perhaps the most prominent of these titles is Ghostwire Tokyo, which launched as a timed exclusive on PlayStation 5 and comes from veteran developer Shinji Mikami. The game is currently available as part of the PlayStation Store sale campaign, so you can pick it up for a special price.

As for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, it's one of the most popular and best-selling games of 2022. Unfortunately, while PS Plus players can try out the game for an hour, Microsoft previously announced that the entire game will be included in Xbox Game Pass starting in December 2022.

LEGO® Star Wars™: A Saga Skywalker no Steam

Of course, this is because Microsoft had a previous agreement that prevented Sony from adding the game to its subscription service until that agreement expired.

PS Plus Premium and Extra games are expected to be revealed in the middle of this month, and during that time, subscribers to the basic service, as well as any of the higher packages, will be able to download the regular free monthly games that will be available from noon next Tuesday, December 6.
