Obsidian wants to work on Fallout with Bethesda.

We previously learned that Bethesda will be working on a major fifth Fallout installment after completing the upcoming Starfield game, and now Obsidian Studios would like to be involved in developing the Vegas segment.

For those who don't know, Obsidian Studio worked on the Fallout series previously, but through one of its sub-parts, Fallout New Vegas, where it was one of the most successful parts of the series to the extent that players demanded a second part.

Co-founder and CEO of Hope Studio Fergus Urquhart Surely his studio will one day be involved in developing part of the series. Speaking to DualShockers, he said:

Of course, if we have the chance to go through another development process for a new part of the game, we will do that. I've been at Interplay for another year, probably because I wanted to work more on Fallout.

At some point, we'll start to see what those next games are, and I'd be surprised if Fallout isn't on that list. If we're going to do that, it has to tie into what Bethesda is doing with the game and a lot of other things, but I always say that my hope is to work on the series again.

Obsidian recently celebrated the release of Grounded, which received great ratings and moderate reviews, and is currently working on The Outer World 2, so working on a new part of the Fallout series in cooperation with Bethesda will be difficult.

Perhaps in the future, which we hope will be soon, we will see a new collaboration with the studio and the company's studios, since they are all now working under the umbrella of the parent company.
