World War Z is a cooperative zombie shooter developed by Saber Interactive and released in 2019. The game was well received by critics and many players on the various platforms on which it was released.
Game developer Saber Interactive announced today that it is set to release the “Next Gen Update” later this month, as this update brings a lot of new features to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The game's graphics and performance will be improved, as it will gain operating modes through which players will be able to take advantage of the capabilities of current-generation devices from Sony and Microsoft, where it will be possible to run the game in high resolution (4K) or run it in performance mode that will make the game run at a frame rate of 60 frames/w.
World War Z Aftermath's free next-gen update will be available starting Tuesday, January 24th, where Horde XL mode will be available exclusively on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, where you'll face off against massive hordes of mutant zombies of up to 1000 zombies!
World War Z is available on all major platforms, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Sears, and PC, and you can check out our news coverage of the game here.
