This week, Game Informer is covering the Resident Evil 4 Remake game, where we shared a teaser video from the coverage showing some new scenes from the game, including scenes from rainy areas.
Through the video below, we see Leon trying to avoid attacks from some villagers, but what caught our attention was the heavy rain that at times seemed to be bothersome due to its intensity, at least for some players who feared that it would negatively impact the quality of the game.
By monitoring the reactions of some players, there are those who believe that the personification of rain in the game is realistic, especially that the events of the game take place in a remote mountain village where the temperature is low, while the raindrops turn into frost and are almost frozen, which makes it appear with this shape and density.
Frost is droplets of frozen water that form as a result of raindrops being exposed to low temperatures as they fall to the ground, so they freeze, but they are smaller and wetter than hail.
Others compared the rain in the Resident Evil 4 Remake to that which appeared in the GTA Trilogy, as it suffered from a technical error that made it appear dense and annoying.
For our part, we believe that the appearance of heavy rain in this way can be annoying, especially with the constant movement of the camera, which will cause an uncomfortable sensation.
Resident Evil 4 Remake will be released for PlayStation 5, 4, Xbox Series X and PC on March 24th this year.
Through the initial coverage of the game through the paid magazine Game Informer, we learned that there are some changes that will be applied to the game in order to give it a renewed character, especially for players who experienced the experience through the classic version.
There will be new enemies and others that have been updated for more bloody confrontations. There will also be an update to some areas, such as the island area, which will be fully available and explorable.
The use of weapons and ammunition, which you can now craft by collecting and combining their components, has also been expanded. There will also be a new bow weapon, which has not revealed many details about it.
Additionally, one of the new features that will be present in the game for the first time are secondary missions, the completion of which can earn you rewards.
You can see all the details through our report that we prepared for you here.
