While we officially know that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is in development, actual details about the game are pretty scarce. We didn't even find out its official name until a few months ago... well, months ago. BioWare has been dropping brief details about the game from time to time, and in a new post on the game's website, the developer has provided some information about how the game will handle progression mechanics like skill trees and so on.
While BioWare didn't show any gameplay footage, it did highlight a few key elements. There will be multiple skill trees in the game, with each skill tree tied to a specific hero class. All heroes in the game can unlock all the skills in any skill tree, and while the game is primarily based on a CRPG, that shouldn't be a deal breaker.
There are, of course, tools to make things even more interesting for RPG fans, such as a screen that shows all the stats, which helps with exploration. There are more mechanics in the gameplay and the developer is expected to reveal more details soon.
We don't know how long it will be before BioWare gives us a look at Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, but it's good to know that the game is in alpha. There was a special leak that gives us a glimpse of the new gameplay that the game brings in this part, but of course we await official details.
