Announced last December, Crash Team Rumble is a co-op game starring our hero Crash Bandicoot, and while we've seen very little gameplay since the official reveal, fans are eager to get their first official glimpse at the game's innards.
Crash Team Rumble is a team-based game with its most notable 4v4 mode pitting Crash and his friends against notorious villains. Your goal is to collect as many Wumpa Fruits as possible for your team, and each character has their own special abilities to help their team or hinder the opponent.
After gameplay leaked this morning, Activision has shared more details about Crash Team Rumble, initially via Canadian Guy Eh, who showed off some new gameplay footage.
The second revelation came via Italian site IGN, when a 30-second clip of the game was analyzed, as this same video was also posted on Twitter. In the clip, we see someone playing Crash in the final moments of the match, running and catching a Wumpa while running due to being chased by a Dingodile.
Activision also provided some additional details about the game itself. Characters fall into one of three categories—blocker, booster, or gunner—and will have unique abilities to help their teammates get as many Wumpa fruits as possible.
