It seems that NFS Unbound will not fully support next-gen features. It has been confirmed that it supports all features except the Adaptive Triggers feature on the PS5 arm.

According to a well-informed source, NFS Unbound will support 4K technology and a high frame rate of up to 60 frames per second. It will also support the Haptic Feedback feature of the DualSense arm, but will not support the other Adaptive Triggers feature.

Need for Speed Unbound features a unique graffiti-inspired art style that will be rendered in 4K resolution, 60fps frame rate, and 60Hz simulation rate. Thanks to the console's CPU power, there will also be more cars on the road and more pedestrians to avoid. This also allows for a more in-depth model of car handling and is intended to give players an "intuitive driving experience."

3D sound will bring the world to life. Players can “hear the roar of the engine bouncing off the walls of the city’s tallest buildings.” The game’s soundtrack will also feature artists like A$AP Rocky and AWGE. Finally, the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback will let players feel the bumps and jolts as they embark on their journey to reach The Grand.

EA hasn't commented on why the game doesn't have this feature, but we'll be sure to hear your thoughts below on its importance in this type of game. If you'd like to dive deeper into the game's missing feature, check out this report.

The game will be released on December 2nd this year for PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
