Developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K Games have finally announced the upcoming NBA 2K24 game for the famous basketball series, as the game launches on all platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The game officially launches on September 8th, and in addition to revealing the release date, the game is eager to add the co-op play feature, which will only be available on current-generation platforms, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. As with previous games in the series, the PC version will not have this feature on current-generation platforms. We don't know why, but it seems the developer wants to provide a seamless experience with a full focus on current-generation platforms.
NBA 2K24 features basketball star Kobe Bryant on the cover, and the game will also feature a special edition of Kobe Bryant called the Black Mamba. America and Canada will also receive a special edition featuring basketball star Sabrina Ionescu on the official cover.
The "Kobe Bryant" version will be priced at US$$ 70 on current-generation platforms and US$$ 60 on other platforms. This version only includes the game and is named after the famous basketball player. However, his second title, Black Mamba, appears in the special edition $ 100 and the 25th anniversary edition of the $ 150 series. Each version features in-game currency and cosmetic items and does not affect gameplay.
Do you think the higher-end versions of the game are too expensive, or is it fair for what they have to offer?
