Founded in 2007, Visual Arts Studio is known for having played a major role in supporting the most popular PlayStation titles through technical support, motion capture, cinematography, and digitization for games such as The Last of Us and Uncharted, and the main studio supports Naughty Dog.
Despite the circumstances that a support studio like Visual Arts went through and was not allowed by Sony to create its own project “click here to learn more”, the years of hard work have finally paid off, as the studio cooperates with a new internal game development team within PlayStation Studios, from To work on a major new AAA game project that has not been announced, it will be in collaboration with the well-known developer Naughty Dog.
So far, little information is known about the nature of this project, but the job listing posted for Senior Producer at Sony PlayStation Global suggests that the project is quite large, and it is not known what role Naughty Dog will play in this project. Developers from the studio who worked on Uncharted and The Last of Us will reunite on the new project.
Among the possibilities about the nature of the project, if the Uncharted game is not new, is a live service game, as Sony expects to release 12 live service games by 2025, and is currently working to increase its investments in the area of live services, as well as versions of games for PC and mobile devices.
