The Honor of King eSports partnership program and the HoK Invitational tournament series confirm Level Infinite’s continued commitment to developing the eSports gaming ecosystem, following the company’s announcement last January of its $15 million investment in the program.
The launch of the Honor of Kings program also highlights the importance of cooperation with institutions and entities concerned with esports around the world, which demonstrate their commitment to joining the game's ecosystem and their desire to continue developing the game and supporting its community.
Commenting on the launch of the new program, James Yang, Senior Director of Level Infinite Global Esports Center, said:
“The Honor of King eSports Partnership Program is a win-win for all parties who have demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting the development of the game; esports organizations are an essential and indispensable element in the development process of games worldwide. Through this program, we will learn how important the game is to fans and work closely with our partners to develop exciting and innovative esports content in the game.”
The benefits of the game’s esports partnership program include priority in obtaining direct invitations to participate in tournaments and promotional support through the game’s official social media pages. Level Infinite will also continue to develop and update the program in cooperation with the participating teams, with the aim of expanding it to include more teams in the future.
It is worth noting that the participating teams in the new Honor of King program come from Southeast Asia, Brazil, Turkey, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Latin America, North America, South Korea and Japan. The list of partner teams will be announced during the upcoming Gamescom LatAm 2024 events.
