Korean developer and publisher NCSoft has revealed its new third-person MMO game, LLL, which the publisher says is a “groundbreaking project.” The game relies on multiplayer, but that’s a bit out of our hands.

The LLL game will be released on home platforms along with PC during the year 2024. In addition to revealing the release date, the developer gave a sneak peek at the gameplay, as the game features an open world of thirty square kilometers in which all creatures after the end of the world live in a perfectly connected environment.

There’s a separate clip for the developer to go over some of the more important details of his game, as he points out that LLL hinges on two questions, the first of which is “what if.” The first question is the most common in science fiction stories, regardless of the type of entertainment content shown, and project lead Bae Jaehyun says, “If technology advances unchecked, will what it means to be human also change?”

Another question also derived from the previous one is “What if different groups at completely different levels of technological advancement met?”. As we will see transformed humans in this game, we will see them in battles with demons and, as the project leader said, what will the battles be like in this ruined world?

This question we will definitely get its answer by getting our hands on the game next year, which the developer considers a completely unusual move because there are many skeptics about the developer's abilities to make an MMO shooter. It's good that the developer has added a shooter and an open world to its track record.
