The issue of Google Stadia's cancellation is starting to cast a shadow over gamers. One player lost a million dollars worth of Red Dead Online currency due to what happened to the aforementioned platform.

Last month, Google announced its intention to shut down its Google Stadia platform early next year. This news came as a shock to many gamers and game developers, as some of them were preparing to launch their project on the platform. The most affected players are Red Dead Online owners due to the loss of their progress and also their money.

Previously, one of the players on the platform contacted Rockstar to transfer his game progress from the Stadia platform to another platform. Since the player has spent more than 6000 hours playing the game and with the platform closed, his efforts would have been in vain.

Another player is in the same situation, but with the company refusing to transfer his progress, as he has spent 3,500 hours playing and earned close to a million dollars in in-game currency. Rockstar says that a player can transfer their progress from one platform to another if they have played within 30 days of the announcement of its closure.

This is a new and unfair condition added to the game's save file transfer conditions, and the player complained about Rockstar's negative response through his account on Twitter. Which is considered unfair to players who have nothing to do with the decision to close the platform or others. The player will lose approximately one million dollars in in-game currency, 1300 kilograms of gold, and his rating has reached 662. As you can see in the pictures above.
