The first-person shooter Immortals of Aveum was first announced during The Game Awards in its last edition, and is developed by Ascendant Studios LLC and will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC platform.

A few hours ago, the game's publisher, EA, announced that Immortals of Aveum had been delayed for another month, so that its release date would be August 22, justifying this by wanting to add additional features to the PC version along with other updates, and work to refine them in order to overcome the problems that you may encounter, as he said in a statement on his official website:

“To create an original shooter with elements of fantasy and magic, we worked during the pandemic, building a new team to work on evolving the game with Unreal Engine 5.1 and pushing the boundaries of what we thought was possible.”

“Recent reviews of the game have confirmed what we already felt, which is that Immortals of Aveum is something special.”

“To fully realize our vision, we’ll take a few more weeks and set our new release date for Tuesday, August 22. This will give us time to further improve the game, finish optimizing all platforms, and deliver a strong start. We owe it to ourselves and you to get this right.”

“Stay tuned for more information about the game in the coming weeks and thanks for joining us on this journey!”

Immortals of Aveum is also known as a charming first-person shooter that tells the story of Jak, who joins an elite sect of powerful wizards to save a world that is literally on the brink, offering a thrilling story and magic-based shooting gameplay.

The game's development began 5 years ago, but entered the real development phase through the creative director Brett Robbins many years agoWhen Brett worked on the Call of Duty series, he began replacing many aspects of the gameplay with other elements, such as magic, dragons, and wizards, and later decided to make the game his own by forming Ascendant Studios.
