In the recent period, superhero games have witnessed a complete stagnation, with the exception of Marvel's Spider-Man and a few promising games that will be released during this year and in the coming years, and we hope that Iron Man, which will be developed by EA Motive studio, will be one such unique title in this arena.

EA Motive has announced that it has begun full production on Iron Man following its reveal in September last year. The news comes from an AMA on Reddit, where a member of the EA Motive team revealed that they have “started work” on the game. In the same response, he also said that the company is interested in continuing work on the Dead Space series after releasing the new remake of the game in late January.

Unfortunately, there’s not much we know about Project Iron Man yet. All we know is that EA Motive is developing it, and that it’s set to be a story-driven third-person shooter. We also know that the game is being directed by former Guardians of the Galaxy producer Olivier Proulx. Iron Man is just one of “several” Marvel games in development with EA.

There are plenty of superhero games to look forward to right now, especially if you're a Marvel fan. In addition to Iron Man, we also have two games from Insomniac, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 coming out this year and Marvel's Wolverine, which is set to release sometime in the future. For DC, there's Rockteady's delayed Suicide Squad title, which is set to release this year.
