Hidetaka Miyazaki, the veteran director with ideas that have made half the gaming community lose their nerve, will not oppose the release of Bloodborne on PC.
This came via a statement he made to the website PC Gamer said that there are other developers at FromSoftware who also want this. However, he commented that he was worried that it would cause him some unnecessary problems, but added that he wouldn't be opposed to it if it happened.
“If I said I wanted one, I would have issues, but it’s not something I’m opposed to… As one of the creators of Bloodborne, my personal and honest opinion is that I would love for more players to be able to enjoy it. Especially because it’s a game that’s gotten a bit old, and it’s one of those games from the past that’s been lost on older devices – I think with any game like that, it would be nice for more players to have the opportunity to experience that and restore those remnants of the past.”
It seems that Miyazaki took great care in answering this question, as there seems to be a lot of emphasis on the part of Sony, who fully owns the rights to the name. This is also consistent with the game's exclusion from the many other games that Sony has released for PC some time after its release.
There have been ongoing demands from the public for Sony to re-release Bloodborne on the PS5 and release a PC version alongside it, but Sony has not given any response to these claims as of this writing.
Additionally, there have been demands from Souls fans for a sequel, and rumors have been swirling for years that Bloodborne 2 is in development, but we haven't received any confirmation on that yet.
