Harry Osborn didn't play a huge role in Marvel's Spider-Man released in 2018, but of course, if you've finished the game, you'll be aware that he'll likely be a major part of the story going forward in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. But while this personality will have a bigger role, he'll probably be a key player in the story.
Harry Osborn was played by voice actor Scott Porter in the previous sequel, but in a new, since-deleted tweet shared on Reddit, he revealed that he would not be reprising the role in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Instead, developer Insomniac decided to cast an actor closer to the character's age.
Harry Osborn's voice actor will not return in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 for PS5
While I played the role of Harry Osborn in the previous installment, I unfortunately won't be in the next installment, Insomniac decided to put the photo in real life and the age difference between me and Harry was too big to overcome I guess. I was shocked, but I understood.
Porter recently starred as Heimdall in God of War Ragnarok, and will play the Flash in Rocksteady's upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Insomniac Games is also working on a Wolverine game, which is being developed under the leadership of Spider-Man: Miles Morales' game director, and the game is expected to launch exclusively on the PlayStation 5 after the release of Spider-Man 2, but has not received a release date as of this writing.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is set to release on PS5 sometime in 2023. While official details about the game remain scarce, reports claim that development is "exceeding expectations" behind the scenes and is "making good progress" and remains on track until the game's 2023 release.
