The Independence Day event celebrations are back in GTA Online once again, turning the streets of Los Santos into its signature color this week. This annual tradition has been running in the game for several years, giving players the opportunity to purchase available Independence Day items such as vehicles, weapons, clothing, and more.

There are also freebies to be had, including a Monster Truck this year, as well as a wide range of discounts on other American-themed items and great rewards for participating in certain game modes. In this article, we’ll give you a rundown of everything that was shown off at the GTA Online Independence Day 2023 event, so you’re all set.

When do GTA Online Independence Day events launch?

In GTA Online, the Independence Day event kicks off next Tuesday, July 4th. Bonuses and discounts are usually available for a week or more. That means you'll have the better part of seven days to collect any promotional items and collect extra GTA$ coins to boost your in-game bank account.

Don't forget about the amazing Finders Keepers event!

Finders Keepers is a new dynamic event added to GTA Online Independence Day in 2023. It involves locating cargo convoys being escorted through Los Santos. If you can control and deliver the transport vehicle, you will replenish some of your supplies for that organization. Don't worry if you don't get the chance, if so, you will be directed to the drop-off point instead of collecting RP and GTA$ after making the delivery.

What items are available in GTA Online Independence Day?

As Rockstar showed us in the official announcement, you can get the Vapid Liberator monster truck plus The Stars & Stripes, Eagle Claw, Eagle Claw Flag, and Fighting Freedom for the Mobile Operations Center for free during the event week.

The Vapid Liberator is available by scrolling down on the Warstock Cache & Carry website, while the MOC paints can be obtained from the Workshop in your Vault.

You can also play Business Battles missions for a chance to find the following items in salvaged chests.
