Publisher and developer Rockstar confirmed a while back that GTA 6 is in development, but in the absence of an official reveal of the game, details on the game were and still are completely lacking. Of course, there have been plenty of leaks in recent years, such as the huge leak we saw last year that showed the first development photos. The question arises: when can we expect to see the game officially?
According to Tez2, a prominent Rockstar insider who has meticulously leaked information about the game in the past, the reveal will finally happen this year. In a post on the GTA Forums, the insider said that the GTA 6 announcement is the company's "gift of the year," with the game targeted for a holiday 2024 release, and the launch could be delayed to early 2025.
Interestingly, Tez2 says that Rockstar removed the content from the game to ensure that the game doesn't get delayed beyond 2024 or early 2025 at the latest. Instead of being released with the game, this content will be added to the game as additional content after launch. Previous reports have claimed that unlike Grand Theft Auto 5, the GTA 6 title will receive single-player DLC based on what Rockstar has planned now.
Game Grand Theft Auto 6 It will actually take place in Vice City. While this information is not official, we have gathered it from leaked content from the game itself, not to mention that many reliable sources have talked about the game already returning to Vice City before these leaks appeared and continuing after it.
The game will feature two heroes, one of whom will be a woman. Reports have claimed that Rockstar has internally shelved other projects, such as the remastering of Red Dead Redemption and GTA 4, in order to focus on developing the highly anticipated next installment in the series.
Analysts expect the game to be initially revealed before the end of this year 2023, while it is expected to be released at the end of next year 2024, or the date could be moved to next year 2025 at the latest.
Either way, the GTA 6 community is watching the internet closely, hoping to get something out of it this year, so are our expectations correct?
