According to Kadowkawa's latest earnings report, the company's net sales rose to 17.137 billion yen, an increase of 255% over the past six months. On the other hand, operating income rose to over 1110%. That's 7.592 billion yen, compared to an operating income of 623 million yen last year.
Recently, Sony and Tencent invested in FromSoftware. Both companies purchased a 30% stake in the developer to help fund new game development projects.
The same reports indicated that the FromSoftware studio after the success of its game on a commercial level. It now plans to become a major game publisher in the coming period and plans to publish its games itself, instead of cooperating with other third-party companies.
