Forspoken, a timed exclusive for PlayStation 5, has received a new trailer focusing on its parkour system. This time, we will get to know the main character's abilities in more depth.

Publisher Square Enix and development team Luminous have revealed a new trailer for Forspoken. The show focuses heavily on shedding light on the main character “Frey’s” abilities in the Albacore system in particular.

In addition to the new offering, the development team explained to the official PlayStation Blog, Playstation.Blog, about this system, summarizing the following points:

• The character will be able to use the Dash ability: or quick dodge, including moving quickly towards small obstacles.
• There is another skill called Rush: it makes the character move even faster using some quick button presses.
• Another ability is Shimmy: Allows you to quickly jump over long periods and spaces.
• There is also the Scale skill: it gives you the ability to jump vertically and is very effective against enemies.
• The Soar skill is related to the character's ability to climb rocks or high places very quickly.
• Zip Ability: Very special and allows the character to throw a card that pulls them away from their enemies' faces to escape from them, just like Batman's grappling hook.
• Floating and Gliding Abilities: The first one makes you literally fly and walk through the air, and the second one makes you walk on water in succession.

We remind you that the development team had previously confirmed that the game requires 30 to 40 hours to complete, and that it is scheduled to be released for PC and PlayStation 5 on January 24, 2023.
