Square Enix has revealed several new details about its upcoming game, Forspoken, on the official PlayStation Blog. The report, which is supposed to serve as a companion to the trailer released earlier today, mostly talks about the upcoming game's gameplay, and I don't mind a little bit of story.
Speaking of one of the main enemies, throughout his existence Frey will fight enemies called Breakbeasts in the world of Athia. The studio explains that the player can make use of Frey's magical parkour and fast fighting abilities. Players can use a combination of different types of magic as well as combine parkour moves to help take down these monsters.
The report also talks about some of the events of the story behind Forspoken, namely the reasons why Frey wants to take revenge on Athia's once benevolent mother, who is Tanta Sila. However, the main antagonist of the game is Tanta Olas, who wages psychological warfare on Frey by creating an illusion that threatens our heroine Frey throughout the events of the story.
According to a report published on the GameRant website, she talked about everything related to the game in terms of information, and it was confirmed that its exclusivity on the PlayStation 5 device will continue until 2025, since its release date will be in January of next year on the current Sony device and on PC. While its demo is available in the digital store.
The title Forspoken is coming to PC and PS5 on January 24. While you wait for the release, dear reader, check out the new trailer released yesterday above.
