Ubisoft has several titles in development, despite major cancellations announced by several reliable sources. The company revealed that the reason for these cancellations was due to making room for major titles, so there is currently talk that there is a neglected title that the French giant intends to revive and announce soon.

Ubisoft reportedly has plans to revive a “neglected” linear series to be announced at E3 2023. And before all you Rayman fans start wondering, it has nothing to do with that.

Of course, this information coincides with Ubisoft confirming that it plans to appear at this year's E3 and has "a lot to show."

Given that we know most of the games the company currently has in development, it's not hard to guess most of them and we assume there won't be many surprises, but it looks like the company has plans to revive one of its solo series.

According to Insider Gaming, an article titled What to Expect from the French giant was included at E3. It's impressive that all of the titles mentioned have been known or announced, but the site's founder Tom Henderson confirmed that the company will revive a neglected game and says it's not Rayman.

The aforementioned source usually affects its news, because it specializes in leaks that come from close sources, most of which are from publishers or studios that develop these titles. In any case, the same source confirmed in another news item that Far Cry 7 has been delayed, as we mentioned here.

One of the distinct linear titles the company has is Splinter Cell, which has been confirmed as a remake of its first part, but we could also get a continuation of the series with a completely new part.
