FIFA 23 has been released on all home devices, Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Nintendo Switch, and cloud streaming devices. Critics consider it the best version of the football game series to date, and its release saw a notable improvement over the previous version, FIFA 22.
Publisher Electronic Arts announced that its new version of the soccer game FIFA 23 has broken records, which has contributed significantly to the increased demand and sales for the game. The game has achieved impressive numbers in terms of active players compared to the previous version, FIFA 22.
While FIFA 22 also posted strong numbers over the past year, the latest edition's numbers made us particularly stand out. It outsold FIFA 22 by 101,300 during its launch period.
And based on the game's performance in the popular FIFA Ultimate Team mode during its first two weeks on the market, FIFA 23 saw an estimated 6% increase compared to the previous edition. These positive numbers clearly indicate its continued growth throughout the coming year.
Of course, these numbers are expected to increase dramatically with the launch of the biggest football tournament in its 22nd edition, the 2023 World Cup. EA has officially announced the release date for the World Cup mode in FIFA 23. Additionally, a new demo has been released.
The FIFA World Cup 23 update will be released completely free on the 9th of this month on all home platforms. Except for the Switch and mobile versions of the game, you'll receive the update one day early.
Players will be able to choose from approximately 32 qualified teams. They will experience the World Cup atmosphere from the first match to the last. Players will also be able to control the participating groups and teams and switch between them.
