Former God of War producer joins Nintendo to work on AAA game

Nintendo has made great strides in mending relationships with third-party developers and publishers that were estranged for years before the device launched, and the results are clear for all to see, even if the platform still doesn't match the support that PlayStation and Xbox devices get. Fortunately, Nintendo seems to have every intention of continuing that. For years to come, too.

What exactly will this project entail? It's still very early days, but as you'd expect from roles like this, we don't expect to see the fruits of our labor here any time soon. Hopefully, with rumors that Nintendo is gearing up to release a successor to the Nintendo Switch in the relatively near future, the company is looking to give the system better third-party support.

It's good to hear confirmation from official statements that the company will continue to sell all three versions of the device and will try to find the best possible solution to the problem of significantly increased production and shipping costs.
