Former Valorant director joins Bungie studio

Valorant is one of his most successful works to date, and it was more than surprising when director Ziegler announced that he would be leaving everything behind the game at the end of 2021. Now Ziegler has made a new post saying that he is starting to work at Bungie.
The studio’s work was in the hopes of bringing new “stuff” to players. Dear reader, please note that he used the word “stuff” instead of “new projects” or “new Destiny content.” This post leaves some ambiguity to an extent. However, one can speculate that Ziegler will be working on something completely new, as there are reports that Bungie is now working on a third-person shooter.
Update: I'm happy to announce that my new home is Bungie, working on new stuff that will hopefully one day be played by all of you. Very <3.

Riot Games' former Valorant director reports that he's found his new home at Bungie. Joe Ziegler was one of two directors working on Valorant, along with David Nottingham serving as creative director.
We've also heard that Ziegler was the person who directed Valorant's initial gameplay, saying that the idea for the game came from theorizing with some designers at Riot Games about what the studio could work on beyond its runaway success with the popular MOBA game League of Legends.
On the other hand, it seems that Riot Games is preparing to launch Valorant on home platforms due to job postings and some messages indicating that the developer has been working on the version for quite some time.
