Suicide Squad targets 60 FPS on PS5 and Series X/S, always online

In a recent FAQ for the game, Rocksteady Studios answered several questions for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady's highly anticipated project for this year.

After confirming that single-player and co-op modes both require a constant internet connection, it has now been revealed that the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions will run at 60 frames per second. PC requirements will be revealed as we get closer to launch.

The game is an RPG and superhero game, so it will need some new content after launch, and indeed the game will receive content after launch and it will be completely free. The characters in the game are “unlockable,” so players may have to go through some tasks to unlock them first.

The Battle Pass contains special outfits and cosmetic items, with a free Battle Pass for all players and a paid Premium Pass. Cosmetics can also be purchased in the store, as we saw in the latest clip and what the developer said, but they are all optional.

The studio behind the Batman Arkham series features the heroes of the Suicide Squad, based on the famous DC film series, in this game. The game has a combat style that is obviously a bit fast-paced due to the pace at which it is presented, and we felt at first glance that the game would appeal to all Arkham fans.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches on May 26 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. You can check out the extended gameplay demo here.
