Ubisoft today announced the first details of The Crew Motorfest Year 2 content, adding an all-new playground for all players to explore: the stunning volcanic island of Maui.

Players eager to take part in high-speed chases also got a glimpse of Season 5's promising premium PVE content: Pursuit Squad.

The first year of celebrations in Hawaii offers a variety of action-packed updates for everyone to enjoy. With the release of the latest Season 1 update on July 3, players will be able to ditch the “Donk vs Lowrider” playlist and indulge in the customization frenzy. Starting June 12/6 Dhu al-Hijjah, car manufacturers Abarth, Alfa Romeo and Lancia will join the festival with 17 new cars, with the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale (1968) available as a bonus via Twitch Drop during the conference.

When Season 5 launches in November 2024, all players will be able to freely navigate the enchanting island of Maui, adding over 100 square kilometers of pure off-road fun. They will have the opportunity to explore new landscapes, experience the vibrant atmosphere of the Kahului skyline, drive through the scenic views of Haleakala National Park with its enchanting bamboo groves, and cruise through the legendary lagoons of Ohiu Valley with its sparkling waterfalls. Maui is calling, with the promise of endless exploration and thrilling vehicular adventures.

In this new setting, the festival brings a new twist to the world of vehicles, as seen in the promo The Hound by French artist Carpenter Brut. Gone are the days when a race was just a race to the finish line! Introducing the ‘Chasing Squad’: a unique PvE experience featuring an elite team of drivers whose main mission is to revolutionize the traditional racing scene and outperform their rivals.

Players will be able to join the ‘squad’ and learn to master the art of ‘chasing’. They will embark on an action-packed mission to track, outsmart and outmaneuver their rivals from city racing to island-hopping, with nighttime chases that will challenge their dexterity and push their skills to the limit.

Season 5 also marks the return of the fan-favorite “Made in Japan” playlist, with Volume 2 introducing new neon-lit events, locations, and races. Players will get more information on these during the upcoming The Crew Showcase event in September 2024, as well as news on the ‘Chasing Squad’ experience and future Year 2 content and seasons.

The Crew Motorfest is available for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, X|S and PC via Ubisoft Connect, Steam and Epic Games Store. The Ultimate Edition of the game is also included in Ubisoft+ subscriptions via Ubisoft Connect, Xbox and Amazon Luna.
